Happy Sunday, crafty friends!
This week, the lovely and talented Joanne is hosting our Sketch Challenge.
Sketch Challenge week is always my favorite! I love all of the layered elements on this one. It’s always fun to start with a “layout and see where your imagination goes with your craft supplies. So many possibilities.
I sure hope you will take this challenge for a spin and join us over at The Paper Players. We’d love to see what YOU create!
*I’ve shared the measurements and a supply list of products used to create this card at the end of this post.
Color Combo:
As I was looking through my stamp sets to see which one spoke to me for this layout, stopped on the adorable Just Kiddin’ stamp set and coordinating dies. This bundle is currently in the Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog but good news, it will be carrying over into the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog, too. The new Annual catalog officially goes Live on 5/1/24.However, if you want the bundle pricing for 10% off, you won’t want to wait…because that will go away after 4/30/24.
One of my favorite things about this set is the coordinating Just Kidddin’ Designer Series Paper. This paper will be retiring on 4/30, so grab it while you can. :-)
I cut my little magician right from the paper with the coordinating die which is easy-peasy with no additional coloring required. The cheery colors and fun patterns totally worked with this sketch, too. This is just a fun card of encouragement and I love how it came together.

Finally a peek inside the card! I added another strip of the DSP along with a little strip of Daffodil Delight Cardstock, then stamped a coordinating sentiment and some stars to keep the party going from the front of the card.
This could easily be a birthday card, or just a card to let someone know that you think they are special. I think this would just be an uplifting card to find in your mailbox, don’t you?
I hope you will join us this week over at The Paper Players and share your project for this fun Sketch Theme Challenge. We’d love to see what you come up with! You can link up your project through Noon PST on Friday May 3rd, 2024.
