All of the measurements for my projects are listed below and there is a full supply list at the very end of this blog post. I also have a Facebook Live Video where I put these projects together. You can watch it HERE.
Color Combo:
What I love about this stamp and die set is that they contain SO many different elements. It kind of has a shabby chic feel to it (to me anyway) so, I decided to have some fun layering up all of the little bits and pieces.
I also used the Birch Background Stamp to add some added pattern and texture without having to bring in patterned paper. This background stamp is one of my “must haves” because it works so well with so many different stamp sets. This is definitely a “chunky card” with all of the layers and dimension, so it will take some extra postage to mail. That’s ok though, special cards for special people are totally worth it.
Card Measurements and Details:
- Petal Pink Card Base - 4 1/4” x 11”, scored at 5 1/2”
- Pear Pizzazz Cardstock - 4” x 5 1/4”
- Crumb Cake Cardstock - 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”, stamp the Birch Background stamp in Crumb cake ink using the Stamparatus, sponge ink around edges for added detail
- Petal Pink Cardstock - die cut the frame from the Natures Thoughts Dies
- Whisper White Cardstock - 2 1/2” x 4”, embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to center of frame
- Pear Pizzazz Cardstock - scrap to stamp and die cut two leafy images
- Crumb Cake Cardstock - scrap to stamp and die cut two feather images
- Vellum Cardstock - scrap to die cut two detailed feathers, accent with Wink of Stella
- Gold Foil - scrap to die cut two leafy accents and one scalloped border
- Petal Pink Cardstock - scrap to stamp and die cut two floral images, accent with Wink of Stella
- So Saffron Cardstock - scrap to die cut one little butterfly, accent with Wink of Stella and three small pearls
- Whisper White Cardstock - 4” x 7/8”, stamp sentiment in Crumb Cake ink and punch banner ends using Tailored Tag Punch
- Color Crinkled Seam Binding using a Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends, tie bow and adhere using a Mini Glue Dot
- Champagne Rhinestones
- Whisper White Cardstock (inside card) - 4” x 5 1/4”
I decorated the notepad holder to coordinate with the same elements as the card, just less of them. I went back and forth about adding ribbon and finally decided on a little Linen Thread bow. I figured that since this was something that will be opened and closed a lot, a “floofy” ribbon didn’t really make sense. I love how they came out and I hope you do as well.
Notepad Holder Measurements and Details:
- Crumb Cake Cardstock - 5 1/4” x 7 3/4”
- On long side, score at 3 3/4” and 4”
- Pear Pizzazz Cardstock - 3 1/2” x 5”, embossed using the Tasteful textile 3D Embossing Folder, sponge Crumb Cake ink around edges for added detail
- Petal Pink Cardstock - die cut the frame from the Natures Thoughts Dies
- Whisper White Cardstock - 2 1/2” x 4”, stamp sentiment in upper right corner and adhere to center of frame
- Pear Pizzazz Cardstock - scrap to stamp and die cut one leafy image
- Crumb Cake Cardstock - scrap to stamp and die cut one feather image
- Vellum Cardstock - scrap to die cut one detailed feather, accent with Wink of Stella
- Gold Foil - scrap to die cut one leafy accent
- Petal Pink Cardstock - scrap to stamp and die cut one floral image, accent with Wink of Stella
- Tie a bow from Linen Thread and adhere
- Champagne Rhinestones
- Notepads - found at Dollar Tree, 5-pack
- Crumb Cake Cardstock (inside) - 3 3/4” x 2 1/2”
- Peony Garden DSP (inside) - 3 1/2” x 2 1/4, adhere to Crumb Cake piece and punch a little notch using a 2” Circle Punch, place adhesive only around the outside edges to create a “pocket” and place inside the cover on the notepad holder
I hope you enjoyed these projects today! Please continue to hop along to see the awesome projects the rest of the Stampin’ Friends team have shared for the blog hop. From here you will visit the fabulous Tiziana Milano.
