Softly Sophisticated for PP676

Happy Sunday, friends!
Time for a new creative challenge over at The Paper Players
This week, LeAnne is hosting our Color Challenge.

I’m a little delayed getting my card posted this week. Life happens sometimes but here I am with this fabulous color combo that I knew I would love from the moment I saw it. You had me at Bubble Bath, LeAnne! Paired with the richness of Berry Burst and the cool gray…this combo is definitely a keeper. I sure hope you will join us over at The Paper Players. We’d love to see what YOU create!

*I’ve shared the full supply list of products used to create this card at the end of this post.

For my card, I decided to use the Softly Sophisticated stamp and embossing folder bundle that is part of the Stampin’ Up! Sale-A-Bration offering his year. This bundle can be earned for FREE with a $100 order now through the end of February. I will say, I loved the embossing folder immediately but wasn’t so sure about the stamp set. The more I have played with it, the more I am really enjoying it. The floral images are really easy to stamp together and the sentiments are so perfect for everyday occasions.

I was inspired by a layout that I used in my weekly Facebook Live for this card. You can watch the video HERE if you’d like to check it out. I layered the colors and then popped in a little bit of pattern from Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper and a pop of sparkle from the Soft Shimmer Specialty Paper strips in the background. I finished the card with some rhinestones and a silver bow tied from Simply Elegant Trim. I really like how this card came together and I hope you do as well.

Finally, here is a peek inside the card! I added a strip of Glimmer Paper and a portion of the stamped image with room to write a handwritten note. I’m trying to send out more “Hi, I’m just thinking of you” cards this year. So, I made a few extra to send out, just because.

I hope you will join us this week over at The Paper Players and share your project for our Color ChallengeWe’d love to see what you come up with! You can link up your project through Noon PST on Friday February 16th, 2024
